Turkish Meatballs, Koftas

I have here a traditional kofte recipe. With a few ingredients and herbs, you too can make tasty and juicy koftas.
Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 grated onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove grated garlic
- 1 egg
- 5 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- Handful of parsley
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (pul biber)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix everything and knead well with your hand.
- Let the kofta mixture rest in the refrigerator for about 30 min.
- Bake the koftas in the pan with sunflower oil, turn the koftas a few times on both sides so that they are baked well on the outside but remain juicy on the inside.
- Serve the delicious koftas with Turkish rice.
Notes
Serve your Turkish meatballs with Turkish rice or Turkish rice with orzo.
